Keeping a blog up to date is one of the most important aspects of blogging. This is so important because regular blog visitors expect new postings on a regular basis. Not all visitors expect to see a new post as often as once a day but most blog readers expect the content on the blog to be updated on a regular basis. In most cases visitors expect new content on at least a weekly basis. However, depending on the subject matter the visitors may expect updates on a basis which is either more frequent. Similarly visitors may not be interested in receiving this type of information more than a few times a year.
Blog owners should be aware of the frequency of which readers expect new posts and should make an effort to oblige the readers with updates this often. Opening doors on the web -Blogs
Writers' world over use various platforms to showcase their work and this can be done for two purposes, either for their own compilation or to tell the world that they have this talent thereby inviting projects. They can either adopt the age old system of maintaining a personal journal or diary where they write about their daily lives and also poetry or prose, depending on their interest. Another is making use of internet technology and creating a blog to put down their writings.
Technology has advanced to a point where all one needs to do is create an account, a username and password and the doors to the wide world are open. Bloggers across the world also have the liberty to share and let their work be read by others. If there are a group of people who are into similar writing they might even get together and write on a single blog where they all have unlimited access. And one can also use the text link exchange option incase there are other blogs he frequents. Those who are interested in advertising their websites can avail a premium membership where they will be expected to pay a nominal amount every month or year.
In order to bring in more readers to the blog, one can either write about current hot topics or have a simple name which will come up while doing a search. There are a number of companies coming up with sites to promote business ventures, news about businesses, any seminars or events happening in the same arena.
The traffic on such sites will be people from the industry or those looking for more information on how to enhance their business ventures. These are sites where you become a member, and can share, exchange and get information from. The content is monitored regularly and so are the kinds of people visiting the sites. Since they mean business, they do not encourage random visitors or offensive languages, and adult content. At the end of the day, there must be something that you gain by being part of the site.
A website is a place on the internet where people go to look for some information or learn about something that draws their interest. It may also churn out leads for prospective clients or new projects. Learning to go through the maze of the web is the way to survive.

Why to Use Blogger or Blogspot?
You can see that I use Blogger as my primary blogging source on internet. Between many other similar and popular systems, you might ask yourself why I have choose Blogger for my blogs! On this post I will try to show you my recommendations and stats!
Why to Use Blogger to Blog ?
1.) Completely free – This is of course one of the main reasons why I use Blogger to blog! Of course, many other blogging services are free – but read what you get with Blogger in following text.
2.) Advanced Customization – Blogger allows you to customize your blog the way you want to customize it! It’s little bit complicated to customize (compared to other blogging systems), but you can do much more on Blogger definitely with your site design!
3.) Domain Hosting Support – Blogger is service that allows you to host your own domain name completely for free! Other similar systems usually charge this option – but with blogger you can get it for free.
4.) Space and Limitations – With Blogger you get completely free 1 GB image hosting and not limited bandwidth! That’s very good and enough for 99% bloggers.
5.) Scripts, Widgets and Gadgets – Blogger have collection of some good and quality widgets and gadgets that you can use! Including support for scripts and advertisement codes. Allowing you to fully customize and put on your site whatever you need.
6.) Comments, Moderation, Categories and Archives – Blogger supports comments and comment moderation as long like Categories and Archives – Everything you need to have on your blog.
7.) Secured – Blogger is free hosting service for blogs owned by mighty Google – It’s very secure and trusted service – much more secured than self-hosted systems.
8.) Collaboration Support – Blogger have very good collaboration feature that allows you to have multiple moderators that can post / edit your blog.
Conclusion
Blogger have many advantages to other free-hosting services, as well few misses that should be fixed in near future. I really don’t like blogger SEO functions. By default Blogger doesn’t have any SEO based functions and options – like Wordpress have for example.
Blogger is little more confusing than Wordpress, and it’s not quite good for absolute beginners! Template designs which comes default with Blogger are not professional and they are so oldish! I hope that Google team will fix that in our near future, because with little more improvements they can be much more comfortable and professional.
