Quick Tips For Lighting Your Web Video
If you want to have a beautifully lit web video, than you will want to engage in 3-Point Lighting. This is a great way to light any type of web video, and it also ensures you will stay away from hotspots and shadows, which can ruin a video. 3-Point Lighting stands for the three main type of lights that you will be using. These lights include Back Light, Key Light and Fill Light. It doesn't matter what type of light you use, as long as you follow the rules that are associated with this type of lighting process. After you have followed the process of lighting your video in this manner, you will have a gorgeous outcome.
First of all, you need to understand what the Key Light is, and how you can use it. The Key Light is a light that you place in front of your main subject. Of course, you will never want to place the light directly in front of your subject, because this would ultimately wash the subject out and create unattractive shadows. When you are placing your Key Light, you will want to put it at a 30 to 45 degree angle in front of the main subject you're shooting. Make sure that the Key Light is to the side of the camera. This light will give you perfect lighting for the subject, without washing it out.
The next light in the 3-Point Lighting concept is the Fill Light. You will place this light directly across from the Key Light, on the other side of the camera. How you know you have the Fill Light in the correct position is the light will be parallel to the Key Light, and it will soften the shadows that the Key Light has created. You must be careful in how bright the Fill Light is, because you do not want to put too much light on the subject. Normally, when you are using a Fill Light, you only use 50% of the light's power, or you use a soft light. It is suggested that you do use a soft light instead of a spotlight, because it provides a beautiful contrast without being too bright.
The last light in the 3-Point Lighting design is the Back Light. The Back Light is exactly what it sounds like, it is lighting the back of the subject. This is very important because it will literally separate the main subject from the background by creating a nice outline of light around the rim of the main subject. You will want to place the Back Light directly behind the main subject, and also make sure that it aligns directly with the camera. Some filmmakers decide to place the Back Light above the subject; however, this can be dangerous.
Make sure that when you do this it is tied down appropriately; also make sure that the Back Light does not create awkward shadows on the main subject. This is a common mishap and can cause the subject to look sickly. The purpose of the Back Light is to allow the subject to seem three-dimensional and to also separate it from the background itself. If you want to light your background, you will need to use a separate light.

Web video marketing is the latest trend in online marketing that is super hot!
Web video marketing is the latest trend in online marketing that is super hot! For large organizations as well as for small growing companies, the internet is the biggest platform. It offers limitless marketing opportunities and the potential to reach customers all over the globe. Many big companies, with million dollar marketing budgets, are studying and collecting data about the impact of web video marketing. The statistics thus derived are being discussed everywhere by the marketing executives.
Reasons For Popularity Of This Trend
You might wonder- what is the reason behind the popularity of the web video marketing? Why is it catching up so fast? There are some basic reasons for this trend, let us take a brief look at them:
• The new low cost portable devices like laptops and phones with Wi-fi wireless internet connectivity have given internet access to people who are on the move constantly. These devices have the capability to get streaming online videos that are used for marketing.
• The high speed broadband services as well as other low cost internet connections are widely available in all cities, towns and even very small places.
• The Youtube phenomenon has made uploading and downloading videos extremely convenient and so much fun that everyone is doing it. The web video marketing material can be easily downloaded and seen by people even on wireless internet connections.
• In US, video viewing is catching up like wild fever. In September 2007, 9 billion videos were watched by internet surfers. You can see the potential here; many people must have watched web marketing videos also.
• In a survey conducted by Burst Media, it was found that people in the age group of 35-44 and 45-54 are as likely to watch a video as the people in the age group of 18-24. This shows that the professionals, who are almost settled in their careers and are buyers of all kinds of goods and services, also watch these videos a lot. Web video marketing gets benefited by these people the most.
Boon For Small Businesses
If you are a small business owner, it is a win-win situation. The cost of making a web video marketing content is low and the reach is enormous. You have to get the text converted into infomercials or business emercials. You either have to be trained to do this or you may hire a professional to do this for you. This marketing strategy will earn you far more profits than you can ever imagine. You should not neglect the growing trend of web video marketing and also must not ignore the reach and range of the internet. This latest technology is worth the cost and effort to make it a permanent part of your marketing and advertising mix.
To get the maximum benefits from this phenomenon, it is important to get your videos posted on strategic locations. Search engines, popular shopping sites and general entertainment sites are good places to start with. Here again you may take help of the internet experts and do your web video marketing in a more efficient way.

What Happens from Server to Web Browser
HTTP is part of the Internet Protocol (IP) suite. It is used by a 'client' such as a web browser to establish a connection with the server which hosts a particular website. The server waits for incoming requests by monitoring TCP port 80.
Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is used to create connections between two computers on the Internet so they can exchange data. TCP has provisions for identifying the requesting computer and for transmitting data with time stamps so that it can be reassembled in the correct order once it arrives at its destination.
There are several TCP ports which have standardized uses. TCP port 21, for example, is usually reserved for FTP (File Transfer Protocol) for uploading and downloading files. Port 80 is usually used for HTTP.
If the server receives a request string on TCP port 80 in the form of GET / HTTP/1.1 it will send a response code depending on whether the requested web page is available or not. A typical request goes like this:
GET /faq.html HTTP/1.1Host: http://www.plrarticlecollection.co.cc/ The 'Host' needs to be specified to distinguish websites which are hosted on shared servers. If faq.html is available the server will respond:
HTTP/1.1 200 OKDate: Mon, 12 October 2005 22:38:34 GMTServer: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux)Last-Modified: Wed, 08 Jan 2003 23:11:55 GMT followed by the actual web page.
HTTP/1.1 200 OK means that the requested web page is available. Other codes can also be returned. The code 404, for example, means that the server cannot find the requested page. The web page is sent via TCP as a series of data packets each with a header that specifies its destination and order in the data stream. The various packets can all take different paths to reach their destination. Each is sent through a router which polls other routers which are close by. If a connection with the first router is unavailable the data will be sent through another one.
As the data is received the client (the web browser) sends back an acknowledgement. This ensures that all the packets are received within a certain time. If not, they will be re-transmitted by the server. TCP also checks that the data is undamaged. The data is reassembled in the correct order thanks to the sequence number of each data packet. Voila! The web page appears on your computer screen.
The TCP connection can be kept alive for additional requests from the client. This allows several pages to be requested within a short time period without causing the overhead of opening and closing TCP ports. Either client or server can close the connection at any time.

How To Choose A Web Designer That Won't Rip You Off
Choosing a web designer for your business is a minefield. The industry is unregulated, is fragmented, has a wide variety of pricing and is plagued by "cowboys". So how do you choose?
Prices vary tremendously, so first you need to shortlist companies that are clearly reliable and reputable. So how do you do this? Check how long they have been established as Web designers as the industry is known for it’s “here today, gone tomorrow” operations.
A company that has been around for a few years is much likely to be a safer bet than the one man start up that is offering discount prices. Who would you trust more - the car dealership there has been established 10 years or the new one that has just sprouted up last week? hile their website may tell you how long they have been established, this may not necessarily be the correct information. Of course, limited companies will file records at Companies House which you can check to see how long they had been established. However, a far easier and quicker option is to check how long their website domain name has been registered .
You can do this and typing in their Web address into the Whois lookup search box. This gives you information on the registrant, their address and the date the domain was first registered. While this is not entirely foolproof, it does give a good an indication and you should be wary of any company where a domain name is only a year or two old.
Look at their track record. They should have a good portfolio of the sites they have built available to see via their website, as well as customer testimonials. Their portfolio is a good indication of their design skill -- if you like the websites in their portfolio, then they are likely to satisfy you on the design side.
Check the company works from an office. Web design is an industry with a multitude of different operators -- from freelance work at home designers to large new media agencies. If the company works from an office, it is more likely to be still here next year than the guy who just does it from home.
Does the company have online marketing expertise? Look for a company that it is experienced in marketing websites online as they can give you lot of free information to help market your website. Not all designers know about online marketing.
While the above tips are not exhaustive, I hope they go some way to helping you choose a good web designer.

Using Animation & Rich Media In Web Design
BEFORE you add any special effects to your web site, especially your home page, is your site easy to read, easy to navigate, easy to find, consistent/coherent in design, and quick to download? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, then adding special effects to your web site can be a good idea.
Special effects add to a web site's download time, and you don't want potential customers clicking off your site before viewing its content because you wanted "cool" effects on your web pages.
Some special effects require a plug-in. Here's a typical scenario. Let's say that some of your visitors do not have the plug-in required to hear the sound. Again, before they see the content of your site, they're probably going to see a pop-up asking them if they want to download the plug-in. Do you want your potential customers to see that pop-up right away? Or do you want them to see your products and/or services that they are searching for? If visiting your site means potential clients will have to download a plug-in first in order to view your site, products and/or services, they will probably continue to navigate your site. It means that you were thinking more of your corporate image than of your potential customers.
Some special effects, such as animation and music, might be cute and impressive at first. However, after the initial impact, it can become irritating. So irritating, in fact, that some people actually unplug the speakers to their computers.
To show design, technical, or programming talent, we recommend dividing your site into individual pages that showcase one particular talent per page. Doing this can greatly increase your pages' download speed, and your visitors will know what to expect when they go to a special effects page. An added bonus to this layout is that you can code (meta-tag, descriptive titles, etc.) and promote each talent page differently (i.e. emphasis on different keywords), possibly resulting in better, targeted traffic to your site.

Internet solutions and web design solutions.
Any company needs to have a web site. But how can it be developed? And who can do it?
On the net there are plenty of web design teams. You can also find nice templates if you like. But this will not solve your problem. In many cases a company needs a dynamic website, good looking and full featured.
Such sites are very hard to find and you will need a custom software development company to program the back end.
When you intend to hire such companies to design your web site you need to know exactly what features needs to be integrated in the back end and linked to the layout. The design of the web site will be done based on the back end. The web design must be W3C standard compliant to be compatible to most of the web browsers.
The back end can be coded in many programming languages such as PHP or ASP but then the site must be installed on a compatible server. Use javascript only for small features and web design not for the entire site engine. If you don't do this, many of the pages will not be indexed correctly by search engines.
Note that your site needs to be optimised for search engines. This can be done with a good web page design, easy to be crawled.

Ways To Have A Solid Website Promotion Campaign
This is where can help you and your business. The Internet is a never ending highway of information and services; you have to make yours different from the rest and website promotion can get traffic to your website that might otherwise go elsewhere.
The first thing you will need for web promotion is a website. Your website has to promote what you do or what you sell effectively. Keep your website professional and clean (don’t overload it with flashing images and lots of text), keep it to the point and as concise as possible.
To be able to have a successful business using the Internet you have to use SEO. This stands for . SEO can transform your business instantly and make your website appear at the top of the search engines list. Not all websites are featured on the search engines; sometimes the search engines are just unable to ‘read’ the content properly. You have to have your website built properly for it to be seen by the search engines. Make sure you include lots of keywords in your text and that your website is built using a clean code.
SEO is not a website promotion technique that happens overnight, it can be a long and arduous task. It is worthwhile doing but be prepared to put effort and time into obtaining maximum results. In the mean time you can use website promotion in the way of pay per click advertising. You don’t have to spend a fortune using pay per click advertising as you are able to set your own budget. You can set the limit to a monthly budget or a per click budget. Obviously the more money you spend per click the better the leads, but the option is there for any kind of website promotion budget.
All you have to do to use website promotion and pay per click is to write an effective ad for the potential clients to see.
Make the headline strong and always fix a problem... Show the person reading your ad that only YOU can fix what problem they have. Another effective website promotion tool is to use email marketing. Email marketing campaigns can be hugely beneficial and they can let you keep in touch with past, present and future clients. You can buy lists that have relevant peoples email addresses on or you can make sure you have an option for a client who uses your website to sign up for updates and letters from you. Always give them the option to opt out of any website promotion you have so as not to invade their personal rights. Make sure your email newsletters within your website promotion are interesting, relevant and clear. Don’t baffle them with language they won’t understand or babble on about things that are not of interest to them. Give them a reason to click through to your website and sample your services or products.
Another website promotion technique is to use social networking sites. You may not think it but there are thousands upon thousands of people on these sites. They are becoming more and more about website promotion then they are about meeting new people. If you have a good website promotion campaign then you can target these social networking sites and drive relevant traffic to your website. Make sure your website promotion plan has one if not all of these factors included. If you want to be successful on the Internet; you have to make your website seen by the masses and website promotion is the way to do it.
