YouTube has become an amazing way to generate free traffic to your site. Just like a website, you can optimize your videos for the YouTube surfers who use the search feature. Just as someone could type in "imtiaztips" in Google.com and find your site, they can do the same with your videos on YouTube.
Because you can enter a title and keywords for every video you submit and this information helps people find your video when they do a YouTube search. More and more people use YouTube every single day and this can funnel quite a bit of traffic to your video, especially if the video is done well. And not only can you capitalize on targeted YouTube traffic, but you can entertain your own site's audience by embedding your video into your web pages by simply copying and pasting the provided code.
Getting Your Video on YouTube
Computers and cameras are making it easier and easier to get video on the Web. It used to be you had to buy additional software just to get your video on the right format. Now most digital camcorders come with the necessary software, or your PC or MAC may already have the software you need to make it happen. Plus YouTube accepts so many different video formats, you don't have to worry about converting the file. Not to mention, Windows Vista has a free video editing program called "Windows Movie Maker" which is super easy to use.
You simply download your video from your camera to your PC. Then open up Windows Movie Maker to make edits to your video. You can add captions, credits, crop and more. Since Windows Vista is a free program, there are some limitations. For example, you can't control the placement of the captions. So if you've centered yourself in the video, you'll have to deal with the fact that the captions/text may cover your face temporarily.
Also, you can't control how long the credits stay on the screen. After all, the credits are a great place to re-emphasize your website address so you want people to remember it. But in my opinion, these are very small drawbacks. Remember you only get so much for free and you can still create a nice quality video with this software. You can see one of my videos below I created with Windows Movie Maker and then uploaded to YouTube...
Video Production Tips
1. Have adequate lighting. - Make sure people can actually SEE you. What are you hiding anyway.
2. Don't memorize a script. - unless you're good at delivering it where it doesn't sound like you're talking from memory. I've found if you just talk off the top of your head, it comes across much more conversational and natural.
3. Watch the time. - Your video should be as long as it needs to be, and get to the point. If you start rambling for 10 minutes about nothing, you could lose your audience before the video is finished. If your video seems long, think of ways you can summarize and condense certain points.
4. Check your backdrop. - Remember, this video is representing you and your site. If you've got a junk heap behind you, it will distract your audience. If you don't have a nice background, then just film in front of a blank wall.
5. Watch your filler words. - We don't realize how often we say "Um" and use filler words until we see ourselves on video. It's normal to need a sec to think about what to say next, so practice just being silent in those moments.
No matter what method or software you use, it's definitely worth experimenting with video to help promote your site. And since YouTube is owned by Google, that can only mean good things if you make a good video and optimize the title and keywords for your audience. Just like Google.com, YouTube can bring you a good amount of targeted visitors, and people can even subscribe to your YouTube channel so they'll be notified any time you add a new video. And if your video is good enough, others will want to embed it into their sites. What a great, viral way to promote your site and get your name out there. So take your time making a quality video. Once the viral effect kicks in, it can make quite an impact in your traffic levels.

Creating RSS Feeds for Your Website
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) or it's sometimes referred to as Rich Site Summary. It's an XML-based content format for distributing news, headlines, articles etc. Many news sites such as CNN.com and USAToday.com now provide their headlines in RSS format for web surfers.
So if you have a free RSS reader like BlogExpress you can get the headlines from these sites without even having to visit their homepage. You can also do the same for your website by publishing your own RSS news feeds.
Advantages of Creating RSS Feeds
For webmasters this is an excellent way to bring repeat traffic to your site. Every time a web surfer opens their RSS reader to get the headlines for all the sites they monitor, they will also see your site's updates. Instead of relying on them to bookmark your site and return at a later date, their RSS reader keeps your site fresh in their minds.
So when they open their reader to check the headlines for Yahoo, CNN or any other feeds they subscribe to, they will also get the latest updates from you.
Export Your RSS Feed
About these feeds is that other people can use them as content on their site. So if you have a feed that is of particular interest to another webmaster, they can post your content on their site. This is another great traffic opportunity!
First you need to build your feeds :
I use www.feedforall.com. They have an easy-to-use feed builder that lets you create and manage all your feeds in one place. Then once you've created your feed you have to upload the XML file to your web server. FeedForAll.com will automatically convert your feed into the XML format so you don't need to worry about additional formatting or coding.
The URL will be
http://feeds.feedburner.com/Imtiaztips-WebmasterArticlesWebsiteDesignDevelopmentTutorial.
This is the link to your RSS/XML feed, and the one you'll be advertising so people can subscribe.
So any time you add a new article to your feed, that XML file is updated.
FeedForAll also has a built-in upload feature so you can upload the XML file right to your web server with their software, assuming your web host has FTP access.
Another way to create it: You can create a free blog at Blogger.com and the feed URL is automatically generated for you. This is the easiest way to go. So every time you post to your blog, the feed is updated instantly.
For example, imtiaztips blog. The URL to the actual RSS feed is: http://imtiaztips.blogspot.com/atom.xml
So that's what people with RSS readers will add to their software in order to subscribe to that feed. Now any time I make a new post to my blog, their RSS reader is updated with the new content.
Announcing Your Feeds on Your Website
Now that your feed has been uploaded to your website, you need to tell your visitors how to subscribe to it. First, you'll want to get one of the RSS or XML buttons to add to your site. This lets people know you have feeds available. Go here to select a button.
Once you are displaying the button on your site be sure to add the XML link to it so a person can retrieve the link to the feed. For example, here's my feed .
If you click the button notice it opens my XML feed. Of course, you don't want your visitors to link to your feed this way. You want them to put this link into their RSS reader so they can subscribe to it and it will display like a regular news feed.
So what you would do is instruct them to right-click the button and "Copy Shortcut" (for IE users) or "Copy Link Location" (for Firefox users)
Have them open their RSS reader and start a "New Subscription". Now they can paste the XML link into their reader they are subscribed. It's that easy!
Now every time they open their reader and refresh their news items, they'll get the latest and greatest from your website.

How To Avoid Fraud & Scams?
The world is full of people who feel they can take advantage of others to obtain their goals in life. Fraud, Deceit & Scams happen in the real world every day. Just tune into your local news to hear about them. But, Fraud, Deceit & Scams also happen in the virtual world as well. And, unfortunately they often hit those who can lease afford the losses.
Online we are always inundated with "get rich quick schemes" and their claims of "overnight success". If you're like me you find this kind of s.p.a.m clogging up your email box on a daily bases. They tell us how easy it is. How we can just sit back and relax, do nothing all day long and still make a roll full of money. Hell, we might as well go golfing because we'll be making money hand over fist while on the golf course. :- Now while sitting back and watching the money roll in would definitely be nice, reality is, rarely does any get rich quick scheme ever work. The promises of millions never pan out no matter how hard you try.
The problem here is that so many people want and need to make more money. And they want to make that money as quickly as they can. So they believe, or hope that what the scammer is telling them will be true. But understand this, even the greatest, largest companies in the world took time and work to build. Martha Stewart for example will tell you that she started her business in the basement of her house. And look where that business is today. A multi billion dollar a year corporation. While we all can't be Martha Stewart or Donald Trump or Hugh Heffner we can have our own successful home based business if we just stay away from the scams.
So, how do we spot the scams? Well, if you are serious about operating your own home based business there are things you can watch out for. Sort of the red flags of the business opportunity world. Let's have a look at some now. -
Charging you for information about their business opportunity. It's pretty plain and simple. A so called business opportunity tells you all you have to do is go to your mail box pick up the checks and cash them, but first you must send them a check to get the information on how this is done. I'm of the thinking that your check is going to be the only check getting cashed here. This type of ad appears all over the internet. But if their business opportunity is so good why must you pay to find out what it is. Would it not make more sense to give you that information for free so they could get you interested in their product. I would think so! And unfortunately many people get scammed into sending these frauds the money they ask for. Then if they receive the information they paid for they will often find it pretty much useless and often they are require to send more money for more information. Stay away from these types of ads, they will not get you a successful home based business! -
They want to charge you a fee to sell their products. O.K., I've got to ask - What's up with that?! If their product is so great won't you be selling them like crazy? Won't you be making money for not only yourself but for the company as well? Don't pay to sell someone else's products. -
They offer you free products.
Ever see these ads where you are entitled to a free (what ever) only to discover you'll need to purchase something first. ie: Sign up today and get (what ever) for FREE! Of course what they don't tell you is you'll have to purchase a sample package first in order to get the freebie. - Fly by nights Fly by night companies that pop up and take peoples money operate both offline and online. Very often they disappear without warning. So to keep yourself safe from these frauds ask yourself the following questions. Is this an established company? How long have they been in business? Do they have an actual street address or only a P.O. Box? Or worse, no address and no way to contact them at all? Do they use only an auto responder or do they have an email where you can get in touch with a real person? I know that all these points seem like common sense. But why then, do so many people ignore them. That is why these scammers can exist. As explained in my book "eBay Marketing Wholesale SourcePak" when looking for your perfect home based business it is important to look for a company that only gives you the straight goods. No promises of exorbitant amounts of money falling from the sky into your lap without you doing a thing to make it happen. And, they should not be charging you for any information on their business opportunity it should be laid out for you. Use your own common sense, if something looks to good to be true, then it probably is to good to be true.

"Free Stuff" Still Survives Online
Way back in the good old days of the Internet (mid to late 'Nineties), you could find all sorts of free "stuff" online.
Everything from website hosting and email, to software and long distance phone calls came free of charge. Some of the free services survived, while others used their venture capital to pay for the mansions and yachts of their CEO's and then closed up shop within a few months - leaving investors high and dry. A few free services still exist on the 'Net in today's more realistic dot-com economy and today rates as good time as any to take a closer look.
** Free Email **
Log on to HotMail.com and get yourself a free email account you can access from anywhere on the planet you can find an Internet connection. HotMail.com and http://mail.Yahoo.com (with twice the free storage space of HotMail) rate as two of the most successful and long-lived no cost services left over from the "free" glory days of a few years ago.
** Free File Storage **
http://briefcase.Yahoo.com still ranks as the number 1 free remote file storage service on the Internet. Store up to 30 MB of files remotely for access and sharing from any Internet connection anywhere in the world. Instead of lugging floppy disks around between office, home, and laptop, you can store them online in your own password-protected briefcase on the Yahoo high-speed servers. A great way to back up and share files worldwide.
** Free Website Hosting **
Tripod.com allows you to set up your own website absolutely free. They support their service with third party banner ads at the top of every page you display. A great way to get started, but any serious entrepreneur will eventually want to get their own low-cost hosting account costing as little as $5 a month. DotEasy.com presents an excellent alternative to Tripod.com if you want your own domain name and a year's hosting for only $25 a year. Other free hosting services include: GeoCities.com, gurlpages.com, and myfamily.com.
** Free Software **
Freeware and shareware, two ways software developers distribute their creations, either in a "try before you buy" mode, or as truly free software. Many developers around the world create software for their own personal use but, lacking a huge buying market or the skills to sell the software, some of them just give it away or sell it for a nominal fee after you try it. If you know where to look, you can get everything from graphics programs and website builders, to FTP programs and recipe books. Log on to Download.com and Zdnet.com for two of the most popular places online to find software before paying full retail.
Make sure your anti-virus program is up-to-date and backup all your important files before installing any software. Free stuff online will never disappear because, when appropriate, it represents the perfect way to start and develop a relationship with customers. Unfortunately, the "boom" days of the truly free online "lunch" seem gone forever. Sigh.

Busting Online Copyright Thieves
How safe is anyone's copyright online?
Well imagine my surprise when I clicked on a website link to discover that someone had not only copied my website to their server - but was selling my ebook and undercutting me in the process! Some dishonest person operating from Eastern Europe had literally stolen my entire business and I discovered it only by sheer luck.
After some very lengthy and threatening emails I got them shut down, but the question remains, how safe is your copyright online and what can you do to protect it?
Traditionally written works have enjoyed copyright protection not only through the rule of law, but also because of the physical difficulty in stealing another person's work. Let's face it, photocopying a 200 page book rates about as much fun as watching paint dry and at 5 cents a page you're talking a quick ten dollar printing bill. If you steal someone's book, print up a thousand copies and try to get it onto the local bookstore's shelves, the chances of getting caught rank pretty high.
But the online world has changed those rules and physical safeguards significantly. The Internet, email and the Web make it easier than ever to steal someone else's work. With the most basic skills and a few mouse clicks, someone can take your book, your website, and along with it weeks, months, and even years of your hard work. Though intellectual property and international copyright laws apply to online works, enforcement of those laws is expensive and, in many cases, hard to enforce. Well don't despair, you do have options if you find someone has violated your copyright online. Anytime I find someone violating my copyright, which isn't very often, I take these three steps in rapid-fire fashion. First, make 100% sure the other person realizes they have violated your copyright.
You can send them a nice but firm note telling them to stop whatever activity violates your copyright. If that doesn't work move on to step two. Second, once you know with 100% certainty they understand they have violated your copyright, yet refuse to respond or stop, you need to shut them down by eliminating their ability to do business!
Send them an email with a carbon copy sent to their Internet Service Provider (ISP), their credit card processor, their web hosting company, and even the company that sold them their domain name. Finally, follow this email up with a hard copy letter to each party sent via registered mail. In the email and letter detail exactly how they have blatantly violated your copyright and you want them to desist immediately.
By taking this approach you can often just bypass the offending party because the companies enabling them to transact business don't want any trouble. If you can show copyright violation they will shut the perpetrator down to avoid getting sued themselves.
Though not foolproof, this strategy can help you when facing down a blatant online copyright violator. Just remember to act quickly, thoroughly and don't hesitate to contact your attorney for advice.
Author's Note: By no means let this article dampen your enthusiasm for operating your business or selling your ebook online!
In my opinion there is no better way to make a living!
Your copyright is basically as safe online as it is offline. However, if a sneak thief entered your home - you'd call the cops. Well, now you know what to do if a sneak thief ever gives you trouble online! You can also get more information about copyright law by going to http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/

Are They Watching You Online?
When surfing the Internet you probably take your anonymity for granted, most of us do.
Tapping phones, listening to confidential conversations, reading others' e-mail messages seems like something that only happens in spy movies to "other" people.
However, you probably don't realize just how much information about yourself has the potential to get transmitted across the Internet every time you go online.
Every computer connected to the Internet has "ports" that allow it to connect. A "port" doesn't mean you have a physical hole or opening in your computer's case or hardware, but it does mean you have openings through which information passes back and forth between your computer and the Internet.
Depending on the type of connection (dial up, LAN, cable, DSL), you may have several openings for potential mischief by hackers, malicious code or viruses.
Computers with dedicated connections rate the most at risk. If someone or something gets into one of these ports and into your computer, they can potentially watch everything you do and see all the data you enter, including social security numbers and credit card information.
The easiest way to defeat this problem involves using a firewall. Firewalls, simple and inexpensive software available at virtually any office supply or computer store, block the most common ports hackers use to enter your computer.
Firewalls also help you detect and block unauthorized transmission of information from your computer to the Internet. This adds a significant measure of protection if you get infected with a Trojan Horse virus that tries to "phone home" to the hacker with your sensitive information.
If you'd like to test your connection for vulnerability to attack, log on to http://security1.norton.com and run the various diagnostics. I would strongly advise anyone connected to the Internet through DSL or cable to get and use a firewall to protect against unauthorized access.
Infected with "Spyware
Previously we talked about unauthorized access to your computer. But a growing problem online with people watching you and your activities involves using programs you willingly place on your computer.
Commonly called "Spyware," this refers to any program that transmits information about you to someone else without you knowing exactly what gets sent. The main purpose of Spyware involves tracking your surfing habits so advertisers know which targeted ads to send you.
Most Spyware basically comes onto your computer bundled with other software applications, as a standalone program, or as modification to the HTML on a web page.
Regardless of how you get it, you need to understand exactly what information gets transmitted about you so you can decide whether to keep or uninstall the software. Plain and simple, these Spyware programs can potentially reveal extremely sensitive information about you and your online habits.
If you have concerns about Spyware and whether or not your computer currently carries any, log on to www.lavasoft.de and check out the free PC software that will scan your system for known Spyware.

Who Should We Exchange Links With?
As in anything else we do, we should link to sites that we truly believe offer useful content to our site's visitors. The Page Ranking System that Google has in place makes it useless to inadvertently add links to other sites for the sole purpose of 'trading links'. The reality of the situation is, if you are trading links with other sites for the sole purpose of raising your own search engine optimization then you should only trade with sites that have a page rank of 4 of 10 or higher. Take caution, that if the pages you link to are not in some way related to the content of your own site, you'll NOT get the full advantage of their page rank.
The Bottom Line
If the pages that you link to off your web pages are not relevant to your own content, they will not help you in any way to receive a better ranking on Google. If you link to pages that are not already considered important to Google due to their own content and their own ranking, they won't help you much at all. The bottom line? Don't link to someone just because they'll link to you. This will NOT help your ranking. Link to other sites because they have quality content that directly relates to the content of your site in some way. Think of it this way; link to sites that will offer your visitors relevant information to what they came to your site for. Actually visit the sites you link to and make sure that they offer quality content instead of 'fluff'. Remember that Google's main purpose is to provide relevant search results to the people that use the Google Search Services. To keep their users happy, they only want to send them to sites that are considered important not only because of the content they provide, but because they are considered important enough by related sites to actually provide a link to them as a resource. While Google is not the ONLY search engine optimization there, it is the most widely used 'provider' of search results. Many of the 'major' search engines get their results directly from Google! A strong page rank and high ranking in Google can mean free search engine optimization from other search engines that normally only accept 'paid inclusions'.
One Last Note
Some web masters refuse to exchange relevant links due to a page rank of less than 4 of 10. This may bite you later, if the site that wants to link to you now, ranks higher later. Don't refuse a link exchange solely due to their lacking page rank. If a site has quality content, and it's relevant to your site, exchange links with them anyway. Just because they don't have a high page rank today, doesn't mean they won't soon be considered important in the eyes of the Google-bots. Keep your link exchanges relevant, and make sure the content of the sites you link to is good, solid information. Soon enough, you'll find these quality sites wanting to link to you too. Remember, content really is the most important thing... they don't call it the 'information super highway' for nothing you know!

Searching the Internet without Search Engines ?
The World Wide Web contains more than ten million websites. Thousands of more sites are being added daily all over the world. These search engines are tasked with presenting the most relevant pages based on the search criteria entered. Finding a large and popular site like www.irs.gov is easy because it is related to a large agency, it would be impossible without the use of search engines. The task of finding a website that relates to a specific subject would be almost without the use of the search engine, yet they perform this task with relative ease using tools that may be unknown to most users of search engines.
The first of these tools utilize by search engines are web-crawlers; they search sites based on meta-tags, or the hidden descriptions of the site encoded in the head of the web page. By using web-crawlers to spider websites, the search engine does not have to search the entire webpage to return results, just the first few lines of code. The majority of the code web-crawlers spider is contained in the head section or top of the web page, and search engines use this information to list relevant search terms results.Meta-bots and Google-bots are used by search engines in the same way that web-crawlers are deployed, and the only difference is that bots read the first lines of text that is visible on the browser of the user.
Meta-bots and Google-bots are useful in providing content oriented sites with a quick description of the site, and is use to match the relative words in a search engine optimization
The indexer is not a search engine optimization say, for example the largest indexer is Yahoo, which is not a search engine optimization Google that is a true search engine. A true search engine optimization keyword searches to find website, whereas an indexer stores a link to sites based on categories. To submit a website for inclusion into an indexer the submitter has to find a relevant category that matches their website, but to submit to a search engine optimization only have to submit the site Universal Resource Listing or URL and the search engine optimization its web-crawler or bots to index the site.
The search engine optimization become an important part of life, especially in the lives of students that utilize the web for research. Without the search engine optimization search it would be impossible to locate sites among millions of websites.

Microsoft and Google Show It's Time for RSS Marketing
Many internet marketers are still wondering whether to start marketing with RSS or not. It seems that not even all the case studies, hard metrics and benefits available can’t convince them, or everyone would be jumping on the RSS wagon by now.
Just as an overview, here are some of the benefits marketers are missing out on by not marketing with RSS:
A] 100% delivery of their marketing, relationship building and educational messages to their subscribers, customers, prospects and partners. E-mail isn’t getting delivered, but with RSS you will achieve 100% delivery.
B] Increased search engine rankings and quick content indexing, and increased traffic from other RSS-enabled online sources.
C] Getting your internet content published on other websites.
D] Generating new subscribers more easily and quickly.
E] And much much more …
Even if you don’t believe that RSS is being used by enough people right now, that’s still no excuse to not start using it as a vehicle to generate more traffic to your sites.
But, soon all of this will change, too.
As it was widely predicted, Microsoft is integrating RSS support in the next version of its Internet Explorer, and perhaps even more important, it's making it an integral part of its long-awaited Longhorn operating system.
What does this mean for marketers?
A] By being integrated in IE and other Microsoft software, RSS will achieve mass penetration. For marketers this means that RSS will finally become one of the standard tools of mass communication and content delivery. Furthermore, internet users will start to expect RSS from marketers, probably even more so than e-mail newsletters.
B] Marketers will no longer (eventually, of course, when most of the world starts using the latest software versions) need to explain how to get an RSS reader, but will be able to focus only on presenting their business and benefits to the end-user.
C] Broader RSS integration in Microsoft's tools will enable for additional RSS uses, far beyond basic content delivery in the form of stories, podcasts and products. Marketers and developers will be able to deploy rich interaction applications to make communication and business/personal interaction more fluent, easier and more effective. In essence, for many advanced marketers the capability of marketing with RSS will mean their either “in” or “out” of the game.
D] This is now official. Marketers need to start taking the lead and implementing RSS feeds accross all their communicational innitiatives, from PR to direct marketing and sales.
And to top all of this, Google just recently started serving Google AdSense ads in RSS feeds as well.
The deeper meaning behind this is four-fold:
A] The new "program" is the perfect opportunity for RSS publishers to monetize their RSS feeds. With inclussion in Google's standard "runnings" of AdSense ads, publishers can expect to monetize on RSS immediately.
B] This is yet another reason for publishers to start publishing their content via RSS, especially since it won't cost them anything or very little, but will provide them with an additional source of revenues. With the low-cost aspect of RSS, we can expect a flood of new publishers to set-up RSS feeds of their content to generate additional AdSense clicks.
C] With RSS ads included in feeds, more advertisers will become aware of RSS and its marketing potential.
D] Using RSS advertising publishers are now not only creating an additional revenues source, but are in fact making sure they don't lose ad revenue opportunities.
We used to refer to RSS as the future. Well, that future is now. If you’re not ready to start marketing with RSS, time just might run you over. As well as your competitors …

Earn more and be Financially Free through Network Marketing
People have been finding ways to make money to make life easier for them. Money that can help them support their lifestyles and provide for a comfortable, worry-free existence. Different approaches have been mixed with different reactions. While some are willing to take more risk than others, it is these risk takers who usually hit the jackpot. Many businesses have been founded with the pain of many burned attempts to strike it rich. When the internet boomed in the early nineties, everyone wanted to get into the action. Eventually when the hype went down, many investors got dragged along but some made a fortune. While there were some casualties, those that made success made it good because they were willing to try something new.
But still, the internet is still a good venue in making money, although not as profitable as before, one good idea can still provide you a good income. All you need is determination, self-discipline, a good product, a computer and an internet connection, a little business know how and computer literacy won’t hurt either. Ecommerce has been all the buzz lately, with the convenience of the internet in bringing people closer, selling your products and services has become easier to do with large numbers of potential customers.
One of the businesses that made its mark is the network marketing or also known as the multilevel marketing. Even without the internet, network marketing became a huge hit already, albeit the different types of reaction from the consumers. In a nutshell, network marketing is a form of offering your products and services via distributors. Anyone can be a distributor, when you are one, you can get income from selling your products as well as for recruiting other distributors. You also receive commission for what your recruited distributors sell and for what their recruits sell as well. This is called the downline of the original distributor.
With network marketing, you are not dependent on others or to a boss. It’s like you franchised your own line of the business. The amount you will receive depends on your diligence and commitment to your network. The more products you sell the more commission you make and the more recruits you have the more commissions you will have from them. With enough recruits, you could just wait for your commissions from their sales. With network marketing, you get a free reign on how you run your business. Also you get financial freedom and would be able to impart these with other people. You can get your friends and family to join in on the business and watch each other grow businesswise. This is as valuable as the profits you are going to make. But like all businesses network marketing is not without its risks. There is no guarantee that it will succeed. But many have, so this all depends on your willingness and the product being marketed. Look for products that are used everyday by people. Or, try out a product that is new and innovative, try to see if it has a potential by test marketing the product or the service which is rendered. Check if you yourself would use it. You must be very knowledgeable about your product because people are going to ask questions about it, and that’s good. If you get the curiosity of the people, chances are they are interested.
Network Marketing doesn’t grow overnight. Be patient that is one of the beauties of network marketing. Your marketing strategy is done by word of mouth. The more people you recruit the better the chances to saturate the market with information about your product. You don’t have to spend oodles of dollars for big TV ads or newsprint ads. Add the internet into the picture and you get advertising in which tens of millions of people could see allover the world.
Many people think that network marketing is wrong because you’re just setting up other people to compete with you. That is not the case. What you get is a sales force and free advertising. You will still get a percentage in their sales while cutting down on your own personal selling time. Network marketing promotes teamwork, partnership and ties to the community. With Network marketing, there are no real losers.

Set Up Your Own Blog Free
I will now show you exactly how to get your own blog without dipping too far into your own pocket (if at all) and get up and running, even if you don't have your own website, hosting account, or domain name. You basically get two choices when it comes to setting up a blog: host it yourself, or use a service that hosts the blog for you. Each one carries advantages based on your level of skill, experience and how many options you want to add to your blog. If you choose to host your blog on your own website, then you can pick from a number of different options, including MoveableType.org and WordPress.org. However, if you don't want to host it yourself, you can also go to Yahoo.com, put in the term "free blog" and obtain a long list of services that will host a blog for you, either free of charge or for a fee. Probably the best-known free blog service resides at Blogger.com Recently purchased by Google, Blogger boasts thousands of blogs on topics ranging from ecommerce to pet manners. Blogger enables you to set up a functional blog in about 5 minutes and start posting your thoughts, rants, or family facts with the world. Log on to http://Spaces.MSN.com and find another free option offered by Microsoft's online service, MSN. This service makes it a bit easier to share photos than Blogger, which requires a separate software tool called Picasa (also available from Google for free). MSN's blogger service also seems to appeal more to individuals sharing their thoughts than to businesses trying to scare up new customers or get their links crawled by search engine spiders (another advantage of publishing a blog). So if you're publishing the family blog, this one might offer more of the user-friendly options you need. The one drawback to using free services always comes back to the age-old saying, "You get what you pay for!" These free blog services come with virtually zero customer support, so if you can't figure it out on your own, good luck finding anyone to assist you. If you don't mind paying $5 a month, you can get a full-featured weblog at TypePad.com that offers a decent level of customer support. The blogs available here offer many more features than Blogger or MSN, but also require you to understand a bit more about blogging's more advanced features like "trackback links" and "pinging" blog directories to let them know you've updated your blog (so others can come take a look at your new material). Regardless of whether you choose the free or paid option, using a hosted blogging solution rates best when getting started. However, once your blog really starts to take off and you find you need more. you may want to consider upgrading to a more sophisticated blogging solution.

What Is Adware?
Adware is one of many "malwares" or malicious software programs that are unknowingly installed on your computer when you visit online sites and download freebies. When you use share files or visit sites with free downloads of wallpaper, videos, or music, some of these sites will send along adware software with your download.
These malwares are a rapidly growing threat to all computer systems. It is estimated that in the first three months of 2005 over 80% of computer users had some type of malware software program running on their computer, without their knowledge.
Although it is much less a threat to your computer and information than spyware is, what adware will do is cause pop up banners and advertisements to appear on your computer. These advertisements are displayed on your computer no matter what program you might be using. What the people who place this type of nuisance software on you computer say is that adware advertising helps them to recover costs and allows them to offer you those freebies you want.
What you want to do to stop adware from appearing on your computer is to first run an anti-adware program. Run this program on demand regularly. Along with an anti-adware software program run your regular computer virus scan on demand also.
Check the security level on your computer. You security level setting should be at least medium to help protect you from unwanted downloads.
Do not download free files from the internet, period. When downloading any software read the end-user license agreement. Some of these agreements will state that when you download their software you are also agreeing to accept a downloaded spyware that may be placed on your computer at the same time.

Attractive Website- A Creative Approach
Internet provides remarkable tools to enhance the design of your website. With just little effort you can turn your website a masterpiece with visuals applets and special effects. You can put numerous templates and effects in your website. Adornments can make your website more appealing and desired by your visitors. Good website designs allure visitors to at least visit through the whole site.
Following are few guidelines which can help you make your website more appealing and professional.
Graphics or Photos
Human beings are visual creatures. Visuals appeal them the most. Try to use images and graphics in your website. Your potential visitor might not be that free to read your content but if you can attract them by images then you can convey your important message clearly. Capture your visitor's attention and let them recall your site to visit again and again. Graphics with moving images can make your visitor curious to visit your website. You choose from several applets and special effects as per your website's requirements.
Be credible with professional color scheme
Your website represents your company's image. Hence your every approach should be professional and lucid. Once you decide all your graphics for your website, pay attention to the color scheme for your website. Though it looks an easy task but the choice of right colors involves a lot of research and color knowledge. You can get several online color schemers for quite less expensive charges. But the scheme should be interesting and eye catching.
Use Graphical Signposts
Make your website content more attractive with signposts. Use bullets and numbering to make your content more crisp and lucid. Your visitor might not read every sentence of your content but can read the bulleted points easily. Users can easily absorb bullet information where they don't need to pay all their concentration on the content. Visit websites and make points about your liking and disliking in that website. Be your own critic and judge as a visitor. You can find several ways to make your website look captivating.
The above stated points can enhance the credibility and beauty of your website. But, do remember few points which you should strictly avoid while designing your website.
Avoid over makeup
Visual effects can be pleasing but it can be diluted when you use several images in a single page. You should find the right balance between images, as too many images distract the visitor as much as no image in your site does.
Flash Bash
Flash is the most ubiquitous graphic tool. It should be used to enhance the images and text in the website. Over use of Flash makes your website look less professional. Try to be meager while using Flash and other animation tools.
Be simple but avoid being too bland
Numerous sites are uploaded everyday. You must stand out in order to be noticed in this astounding web fraternity. Be creative and easily accessible. Use graphics that reflects your purpose and offerings. This will help you become more desirable and attractive to clients.

Website For All
For any regular web surfer, page searching is not at all a difficult task. If you surf regularly you can easily find new ways of browsing. It proves the adage, practice makes a man perfect. But there is a genre which uses internet without spending time on searching WebPages. Though web surfing doesn't require any inherent skill, but webmasters strive hard to make it as trouble-free as possible. Internet caters a homogeneous group of surfers with distinct taste and expertise. Now think, what if your business site has been used by a user who is not that cyber savvy? Then, you need to give them a simple site which they can easily use and navigate within. Hence your website should be designed considering the special needs of those not so regular web surfers.
Business website should be interactive and communicative. In this article we will discuss about crafting websites which are convenient for all category of users. Why being so specific? Here we will discuss about those users who use computer as they use their dryer or microwave where they don't need to understand all the intricacies of the system. Here are few things which you should take care while targeting visitors for your website.
Searching URL
What do you do to visit any website? Typically you type the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) into your address bar and within few seconds (depending on your internet speed) you will be viewing that site. Unfortunately this is not similar with everyone. People sometime find it difficult to visit the site even when they have the website URL. Here I emphasize on those users who by some way get the URL but are unable to open it. These kinds of users type those URL into search engines and after the result (obviously the desired site) they visit the site. Ironically, study shows, some of the top search engine queries were website URLs with the extension like, yahoo.com, hotmail.com etc.
Here you should make your URL search engine friendly, so that no one can miss your URL. Let every search engine recognize you, so that even a small group of less adept web surfer can also spot you.
Title Tag
People might not remember your URL but they might type your keywords. Web search is a very ambiguous phenomenon; that differs from person to person. Many surfers type the keywords of your website to reach you. When they type something into the search engine, they visit only those pages which have relevant description. This description is your title tag. Title tags help search engines give proper description of your field. Hence, chose appropriate title tags. Your title tag should have all the relevant keywords that you are aiming in the search engine, so that people will find your website relevant and might visit your website.
No Scrolling Please!
Your website should be attractive and artistically made. It should not only lure visitors but should make them curious to read and visit again. For this your website content should be brief and right to the point. Long text can look dull and your visitors need to scroll down to read the whole text, which might annoy them. To avoid this, make your content short and simple. Short doesn't mean you will have one word description, but be imaginative in your approach. Be lucid while presenting the central information in your website.
Don't Pop-ulate
Everyone cannot handle pop ups properly. These guest windows can be advertisements, promotions or simple information. Pop ups are slightly ambiguous for many users. These unpredictable windows can soar up your business and even deter your visitor's concentration. Pop ups and hyperlinks needs to be done in a proper manner so that it won't distract the visitor.
Before the design and development of your website always make a rough layout and once you finalize, test your website before implementing it on the web. Do it as a research, where you can identify what problems your users might face.

Color Balance For Your Website
When you say life is colorful it implies life is happy or exciting. Color is used to convey different meanings in our day to day life. Every color displays a unique message even when we don't realize it. Color specifications depend on the culture and region we belong to. Some colors invoke certain feelings or prospect relative to our society or culture. From street signals to ceremonies, some colors express a universal message. The right choice of color in your website will have a significant effect on how your visitors perceive your message. In this article you can get an idea on color conventions, their use, and selection.
The Color Wheel
Colors are generally interpreted in one of three modes RGB (Red Green Blue), CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black) and HSV (Hue Saturation Value). Each color mode is used in a specific manner but for HTML it is always best to use RGB mode. This is the widely used HTML color mode. Colors are mostly represented in a color wheel. Color wheel shows the basic colors each wheel representing a different shade of color, which are basically the same. Color wheel is used by painters and artists to mix different shades of color.
Color Harmony
Color harmony represents the colors which go together well. These are the colors that are abreast to each other on the color wheel. Colors which compliment each other are usually colors which are featured opposite on the color wheel. Colors convey several messages; they can provoke your emotions and can also satiate your requirements. Colors like blue, black, dark green and brown seem to fall back. Bright colors like yellow, white, red and orange seem step forward. That's why an orange background kills the gist of the content doesn't matter what text color you have used.
Color Combination
Now that you have the basic understanding of color wheel, let's look at the different color combinations. You need to coordinate with all your colors to make your website lively and interactive. Generally you can combine colors in five different categories mentioned below:
Warm Colors: These are the colors starting from red-violet to yellow on the color wheel
Cool Colors: Colors ranging from violet to green-yellow on the color wheel
Complementary Colors: These are the colors which are exactly opposite in the color wheel Monochromatic Colors: This combines all the hues of one color segment on the color wheel.
In designing a website it's important to know what your colors mean. You can now understand why a dark back ground with dark text annoys the visitor, because these colors fall back and disinterest your visitors. So include enough color research before designing your website. Your website should not convey a wrong message to your visitor. Make sure every color you chose compliments your corporate identity.

Blogging Can Help Your Business
Are you looking for more innovative ways to boost your online business? You can try doing blogs. Blogs? What are blogs? A blog is simply an abbreviation for weblog.
A blog is just like a website, but with a few differences. Whereas many websites are static and do not change that often, blogs are more interactive. Bloggers can post articles, short stories, or even topics on current affairs and other users can respond to them. These posts are organized in chronological order with the newst posts being showed first. Bloggers usually use blog websites or blogging software for this purpose.
Initially blogs were being used by people for their personal uses, mainly as on online diary to record their activities or their opinions on certain topics. But as blogs keep on becoming more popular, the uses of blogs are constantly growing. Now people are using blogs for their businesses, to advertise their products online, and also to sell other peoples products through affiliate marketing. Some people even take disadvantage of this facility and spam people with thrash content. Such blogs are called spam blogs or splogs.
The vast community of bloggers is called a blogsphere where they build a reputation of new blogs and existing blogs as well. But first you have to understand how to implement blogs for your business in a positive manner while observing the rules of the blogsphere. In this way you will become an excellent resource of information who keeps contributing positively to the blogsphere.
The most important rule of the blogging community is that your blog should not be classified as a splog. That means you are expected to be useful to the community by publishing unique and quality content and not just advertisements. If your content is of high quality then you will build a strong reputation online and your traffic is bound to increase. This in turn will translate into more prospective customers for your business or affiliate programs. This according to experts is the right way to blog. Also, never try to sell your products directly as far as possible. Always try and be suggestive and give them a few options. Then you can start discussing and speculating these ideas back and forth with your regular readers, thus making your blog more interactive and building a strong online community.
It is also important to understand the other side of blogging. While the blogsphere will give your online business and products lots of recognition, it can very well work the other way round and create problems for you. What if your readers or even worse, your competitiors post comments which adversely affects your products? They might simply expose a few issues or shortcomings in your business or products. Youd better be prepared to answer these concerns immediately, because if you dont then other people reading these comments may think negatively of you. So always keep that in mind.
Since blogs and the blogsphere is huge and constantly growing, it is very important to build a good reputation with them, because a part of it is your potential market. Always keep anything negative including negative comments at bay. If you manage to build a strong reputation online then you can easily do away with other advertising methods. Also in this way you can also save a lot of money in advertising costs.
The next thing to consider is search engine optimization. Most blogs, especially Wordpress come ready to embrace search engines. If you can get a high ranking in popular search engines, ahead of your competitors then you are already a step ahead of them. Always try and optimize your blog by adding unique quality content with the right keywords.
Keeping the above points in mind can really help you become a successful blogger and enhance your reputation in the blogsphere. Once you do get the hang of it then you can even have a string of blogs on various topics and link them all together. In this way all your online businesses and products can enjoy the full benefits of blogging.

Tips To Help You Profit From Your Email List
By: http://imtiaztips.t35.com / http://zifreelancer.t35.com
The money is in the list. If you come across an internet business no matter the size without an opt-in list chances are they are not making a lot of money.
But, only a tiny fraction actually joins an opt-in list. Why? Many people find email advertising of a product or service intrusive and annoying. The key is to provide a good newsletter along with quality advertising material. Once you do that, your list will grow quite nicely. This can also be achieved by having good content on your site. If people like what they see and read on your website, then you can bet they will want more. Newsletters can attract them back to your site by giving a tease of information, the rest of which can be found on your website.
Build a huge RESPONSIVE list. The more subscribers you have, the more money you can make.
1) Put advertisements in your newsletter and/or on your website. There are many corporations who will be willing to pay to put their banners and ads on a list with many subscribers. Your newsletter could be placed with many ads and each one spells money. And no matter what talk you may have heard, banner ads are still effective.
2) Put together an ebook of your articles and sell it. How-to articles and books are always in great demand. Many people will be willing to shell out some cash to gain information about a specific topic and subject. With your existing list trusting your expertise in that area, an e-book could be offered and sold or used as a freebie
3) Ask other companies for a small percentage of sales done through your list. With every sale done by customers that have come from your list, the other company will pay you a fraction of the sales. The more people that buy from them, the more earnings you get. Believe it or not many companies are more than willing to do this. Paying you a small percentage of the sale profits is no biggie compared to what they are getting, which is their product or service exposed to a new audience.
4) Network your list. Get people to encourage more people to view your site and subscribe to your list. The larger your list is, the more people will be able to click on your links and affiliate links as well as make your advertisement rates higher.
5) Subscribers as partners. This like having your own affiliate marketing program is a win-win situation. You could joint venture by having a sale or giveaway. This is a great way to not only make money for all parties but attract more subscribers to your list and theirs.
Contrary to rumors email marketing is still very much alive. Your list will be the bloodline of your growth and increase. There are many more ways to make money from your list but it comes down to taking care of your subscribers. Once you do that, they will show their appreciation to you many times over.

Multiple domain hosting, Domain parking, Sub domains, WhoIs Record, Domain Renewal
Multiple Domain Hosting: Many times you will see that a web host offers multiple domain hosting. In simpler words it means that on buying an account you will have the ability to get multiple websites. For instance, if the plan provides you with five domain names, you can use one domain for your website and you will still have four domain names leftover to use. The advantage of this scenario is that you can resell these four domain names to your clients. Domain Parking: If you are planning to build up a website and have decided on a name for it you then must purchase that domain name from a domain registrar: i.e. your domain name gets placed on a name server so that you can use it later on. This is known as domain parking. Even if your website content is not ready, it’s better to park your desired domain name. Otherwise, it might be possible that in future somebody else acquires that particular domain name. Sub Domains: Sub domains are ‘third level’ domains in the sense that they are used solely to organize your website content. They are simply folders under your root directory, but to access them a special URL is used. For instance, http://www.t35.com is a regular URL without a sub domain. http://imtiaztips.t35.com is an URL with the sub domain name: "imtiaztips". Here the: .com: is the first level domain, t35: is the second level domain, imtiaztips: is the third level domain For how long does a domain name belong to you? Generally when you register a domain name it is registered for a minimum of one year. However, you can register it for more years, as there is no hard and fast rule as such. Domain Renewal: After one year you need to renew your domain name so that your website doesn’t get lost. Generally when your domain is about to expire your domain registrar will send you a reminder mail regarding the domain renewal. What happens when your domain name expires? When your domain name expires you can renew it within one month. If you don’t renew it in this period it goes into a redemption phase. It stays in this redemption phase for 15 to 30 days before it is then available for purchase again at a normal price.
WhoIs record: WhoIS record is a domain name search engine/Internet program where users can enter an Internet entity (e.g. a domain, a network, some hosts) and it will give detailed information on the domain registrar, the owner of the domain, and respective DNS records.

Create New and Maintain Websites For Profit
=> Develop Websites for Local Businesses
Approach local business persons and sell them on the necessity and financial benefits of having a professional website. Local advertising may get you
started as well, but expect to get a large portion of your business from referrals.
Charge your clients for the initial design and setup of the website. Work with them to develop a theme for their site based on their unique advantages over the
competition. Keep the site simple to start with so that the cost of producing it is not prohibitive to the business and you can complete it profitably in a short time.
In this business, you can also make money on the maintenance and ongoing support of the website. Charge recurring monthly fees for such services needed as web hosting, updates and improvements to the site`s content, search engine optimization and submission, increasing traffic, traffic analysis, mailing list production and maintenance, and much more.
You don`t have to be a master Internet programmer to provide needed, additional services. There are many free and low cost sources of scripts and other resources available to you on the Internet. Offer your clients (and charge extra for) flash introductions, animated graphics, syndicated content, traffic counters, submission forms, chat rooms, pop-up windows, autoresponders, and more.
=> Sell Websites on the Internet
Build web stores, search engines, shopping portals, and other websites and sell them on the Internet. Some develop sites from templates sold by others. Others build websites from scratch. These websites have been sold on the Internet as turnkey businesses through eBay and other websites.
Another option is to take existing free services and resell them. For example, you could take advantage of free web stores available to you on the Internet. Register a suitable domain name, obtain free or low cost web space, and host that free store at your domain on your web space. Promote your website and increase traffic. Finally, sell your website to the highest bidder on eBay. Be sure that either your Reserve Price or Opening Bid is high enough to make it profitable to you. You will need to transfer the domain name to the buyer.
=>Become an Internet Marketer
Build your own unique website based on a niche theme that has a sufficient market. Then tie in your content with appropriate affiliate programs and your own as well as other peoples` products and services.
To increase commissions and sales, you will need to regularly maintain your site by updating content, increasing targeted traffic, adding appropriate products and services, et cetera.
These, then, are just a few ways that you can profit financially from building and maintaining websites.

How your web hosting business can cash in
The fact that an estimated 40,000 new blogs are being started daily should be of great interest to anybody already in the web hosting business or intending to go into it. Especially those planning to go into the business as affiliates or as resellers because this group of online entrepreneurs are in a very good position to cash in quickly on this amazing growth rate of blogs with hardly any investment necessary. While it is true that a vast majority of blogs are hosted free, it is also true that many blogs are gaining high traffic so quickly that they are forced to quickly find paid web hosting as they exceed their allocated bandwidth. The other fact to bear in mind is that virtually all successful bloggers own several blogs. This is significant because it is not easy to own several websites since lots of technical know-how and time are required to maintain a single website, let alone several. This is not the case with a blog that mainly requires content and very little technical knowledge to run very successfully. In terms of business volumes this simply means that a web hosting business that targets blogs is bound to grow a lot faster than the one that only seeks clients from the ranks of traditional websites. The other significant factor in blogs that should be of great benefit to any web hosting business is the huge traffic that blogs seem to enjoy almost effortlessly. All a web host entrepreneur needs to do, is to find a way to advertise their web hosting services to this blog traffic. There are several ways of doing this. You can for example look for acceptable ways of creating as many links from the blogs to your web hosting sites as possible. You can even start your very own blog on the subject.
