Easy Media Script How-To Guide

Setting up your automated money-making image/video site!

Welcome to the guide! In this guide I’ll talk about how to install your script and various ways you can profit from it. You can follow our updates and future advances with the software over at http://easymediascript.com/blog

Now you’re probably wondering -- what’s so special about this script? This script was our answer to the need for a good media gallery site template that we could edit easily and yet have an incredible power to bring in new visitors and keep them returning. By leveraging social media, you can spread your media around the web on complete autopilot. The best part is that it’s not spam. What is not automated is the creation of your posts. The process is quite quick, and you can queue up many month’s worth of content posting and set and forget. The traffic is natural, as are the viral spikes that very interesting content gets.

This script will enable you to quickly upload and organize your content. Using facebook connect and other OpenID platforms you can quickly bring in new regular users. Create small communities by allowing commenting on images and videos.

Install

Step 1: Download, unzip, and upload the contents of the /ems/ folder to your webserver root folder (or the subdirectory).

Step 2: Create a database and a database user for that database. Keep this information.

Step 3: Go to your site. You’ll see the install panel. Complete the information it asks for, and hit continue.

Setting up the Autoposter

You need to set up a CRON job to use the autoposter.

You will find the necessary cron link in the “System” area in the script back-end. (Auto task url).

The next step is to go into the “Options” panel, and then select the “Autopost” item from the list. Enter in your account details and you’re done.

After that, all you have to do is go to your main “images” screen in the back end and choose images that you want to post, hit “autopost”, select a title and submit.
